Prior to founding Salamander Energy, Nick held the position of Vice-President of Oil & Gas in Goldman Sachs. During his five years with the investment bank, Nick spent two years in Singapore, advising on numerous transactions in the sector in Southeast Asia. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Nick spent two years with the management consultancy Booz-Allen & Hamilton, advising on the giant Dolphin Gas project in the UAE.
A geophysicist by background, Nick spent much of his early career in the international upstream sector with BG and Amoco in such locations as the North Sea, Pakistan and the Middle East. He holds a BSc in Geophysical Studies, a PhD in Exploration Geophysics and an MBA from INSEAD.

Bob graduated from the University of Adelaide, in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree majoring in Geology and Physics. For the next four years he worked for the South Australian Department of Mines on Geophysical surveys in the north of the state.
From 1970 to 1991 he worked with various Exxon companies in Australia, Malaysia and the USA, in both technical and managerial roles.
In 1991 he jointed Santos Ltd in Adelaide, as South East Asia Exploration Manager.
Since 1994, he has been with Cue Energy Resources Limited and for the last eight years has been Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Bob is an Australia Petroleum Production and Exploration Association councilor and is chairman of the APPEA exploration committee.

Mr. Thomas Flottmann is a PhD structural geologist. He was principal structural advisor to CRA (now RioTinto) from 1994-1997 working on oil and gas as well as mineral exploration. Most recently, Mr. Flottmann was the senior staff geoscientist and specialist advisor across all business units for Santos. Mr. Flottmann has worked in oil and gas exploration and development in Australia, Egypt, Central Asia, Indonesia, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, Gulf of Mexico and in Iran. A significant part of his work has focussed on the characterisation of fractured and fracture-enhanced gas and oil reservoirs.

Greg Hill joined Shell in California in 1983 after obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
His early career was spent as a Production Engineer in various California light and heavy oil fields. He moved on to roles in Operations Management, Engineering Management, Government Affairs, Corporate Strategy/Planning, and Petroleum Engineering in Bakersfield California and Houston Texas.
Greg formally left Shell in 1996 to join Aera Energy LLC, a merged spin-off composed of the former Shell and Mobil assets in California where he became Senior Vice President accountable for the majority of Aera’s exploration, development, and production. Greg rejoined Shell in 2002 upon the acquisition of Enterprise Oil, where he became the Integration Director accountable for integrating the newly acquired company into Shell. In 2003, he became Vice President Production for Shell EP in Europe.
He assumed his current role as Executive Vice President - Asia Pacific in December 2006.

Les Kondratoff has held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Canoro Resources Ltd. since 2003. In this short period of time, Les has managed to take Canoro from holding small non-operating interests in two non-producing blocks of northeast India to a new level. Canoro has taken over operatorship and nearly doubled its interest in these blocks, added a third block and rejuvenated an abandoned field to produce oil and gas again. Les has built Canoro into the largest foreign operator in northeast India.
Les has worked in the oil and gas industry for the past 30 years in various capacities in both oil and gas producer and technology provider organizations. The last 17 years have been spent working internationally in several jurisdictions around the world but mainly in Eastern Europe, S. America, S.E. Asia and now India.
Les has a B.Sc. degree from the University of Calgary, plus an Advance Graduate Diploma in Management and Masters of Business Administration degree from Athabasca University.
Les is the past President of the Canadian Eurasia Energy Industry Alliance.
The Russian Academy of Mineralogical Resources and Geology has also granted Les the title of Honorary Academician recently in recognition of his past efforts in Russia.

FRANCIS LOLA holds a Masters of Laws in Resources Law and Policy from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Minerals Law and Policy, University of Dundee, UK and a Bachelors of Laws degree from the University of Papua New Guinea. He also has a Certificate in Drafting and Negotiations of International and other Public Contracts from the Institute of Advance Legal Studies, University of London and a Certificate in International Petroleum Management from IHRDC; a specialised petroleum industry human resource company based in Boston, MA, USA.
He is currently Director, Petroleum Division, Department of Petroleum and Energy. Prior to that he was the Legal Advisor to the Department of Petroleum and Energy. He has previously worked for the Department of Attorney General, where he rose to the post of Principal Legal Officer, Mining and Petroleum, in the State Solicitor’s Office. He has served on inter-departmental committees that were formed by the Government to formulate policies on natural gas usage, landowner benefits distribution, norm pricing in relation to crude oil and offshore mining. He has wide experience in negotiating and documenting oil and gas agreements. He was involved in the negotiations of the Gas Agreement for the shelved Gas Pipeline to Australia Project and numerous petroleum agreements.
His interests relate to the legal, fiscal, environmental and financial aspects relating to the development of natural resources. Recently he has decided to concentrate on the legal, fiscal, commercial, economic, environmental, and financial aspects of the petroleum resources sector.
He is a member of the Law Society of Papua New Guinea and an associate member of the Papua New Guinea section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Bruce McCarthy is Managing Director of Oilex Ltd, an exploration and production company based in Perth, Western Australia, that is listed on ASX and AIM market in London.
Bruce has worked in the North Sea, Northwest Shelf and Timor Sea, India, Australia with large multinational and smaller independent oil companies including Cairn Energy in India. He is a geologist by background and has been with Oilex since 2005.

Prior to founding Salamander Energy, James was the Senior Partner in Lambert Energy Advisory, an upstream oil and gas corporate finance advisory business. James spent most of his career with LASMO plc, the UK-listed independent exploration and production company, first as a geophysicist in the UK North Sea exploration team and later in Vietnam and Indonesia.
James returned to London head office in 1997 to work in Corporate Development and M&A. As a member of LASMO’s senior management team, James held a variety of corporate positions, including Corporate Affairs, Strategic Planning and Investor Relations.
James holds a BSc in Geology from the University of London and an MSc in Geophysics and Planetary Physics from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Mr Parks has a Masters of Petroleum Engineering (MEng) degree from Imperial College, London and has been practising as a Petroleum Engineer for over 12 years in the UK and Australia. Alex joined Otto Energy in December 2006. He has extensive technical and management experience in projects in Europe, North Africa, North America, the FSU, SE Asia (specifically the Philippines), Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to his current position at Otto, Alex has held senior management positions in Perth,
Western Australia including Managing Director of Troy‐Ikoda Australasia and Technical Director of Geoscience and Engineering for RPS Energy (Australia / SE Asia). He was also awarded the prestigious Young Petroleum Engineer of the Year (SE Asia) in 2006 from the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Fortune Oil PLC is a London main board listed company focusing on oil and gas supply and infrastructure projects in China with its operational headquarters in Hong Kong. Fortune Oil was one of the first foreign companies to assist in the development of China’s oil infrastructure, initially through investment in crude oil and products supply facilities. The Company is now also a major gas distributor in China, with controlling interests in LNG, CNG, pipeline and city gas operations. In 2006 Fortune Oil starting drilling for coal bed methane in Shanxi Province and the Company intends to be one of the first to develop an independent integrated gas business in China.
John joined Fortune Oil as Deputy Chief Executive in early 2004. John is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and studied Natural Sciences at Jesus College, Cambridge University and an MBA at London Business School. He has over 24 years experience in developing energy projects worldwide, initially as an engineer in the oil industry and then as an investment banker at Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank. Prior to joining Fortune Oil, John was Head of Asia Project Finance for Deutsche Bank where he helped develop the largest oil and gas projects in China such as the West East Gas Pipeline (with PetroChina). At Fortune Oil his responsibilities include finance, investor relations and leading Fortune Oil’s gas business, including projects such as coal bed methane.

R. Priyono, is graduated as a geological engineer from the Institute of Bandung Technology in year 1976. Born in Pati – central Java, September 12, 1956. Priyono began his career at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (DGOG), The Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (DEMR) as exploration and exploitation instrument technology staff of the Directorate Oil and Gas Business Development.
During his career at DGOG, Priyono has an extensive and diversed experiences, begining with the matters of human resources and Indonesianization program during his appointment as the section head of Indonesianization program and he was later on appointed as head of exploration, head of the petroleum working area management, and finally as director for the Oil and Gas upstream business Development program.
In April 29, 2008, R. Priyono was inaugurated by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, to serve as the third head of BPMIGAS based on the fit and proper test by the Commission VII DPR Republic of Indonesia and President Decree No.20/P Year 2008 dated April 16th 2008.
In leading BPMIGAS, R. Priyono has a main vision which focuses on increasing oil and gas production, decreasing a reasonable cost recovery, and simplifying the existing institution beaurocracy.

Vijay has over 15 years of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions and project finance across Asia, Australasia, Europe, North America and Latin America. Prior to becoming CEO of the Advisor, Vijay spent 4 years with Australia New Zealand (“ANZ”) Investment Bank based in Singapore, first as the Head of Power and later as Executive Director, Head of Project and Structured Finance for Asia. During this period, Vijay 's team advised on and arranged numerous debt transactions for high profile energy, infrastructure and resources projects, winning over 20 “Deals of the Year”
awards. Most recently in 2005, his team won the “Asian Project Finance Bank of the Year” award by Global Finance.
Prior to joining ANZ Investment Bank in Singapore, Vijay was Vice President and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Asia Pacific, Africa and China, at Enron. During this time, he was involved in numerous oil, gas and power asset transactions. Earlier, Vijay spent an initial 8 years with ANZ Investment Bank in Melbourne, London and New York. His last position was Head of Global Structured Finance for the Americas, where the bank focused particularly on Latin America and successfully completed several resources, oil and gas and power transactions. Vijay spent the earlier part of his career with KPMG Peat Marwick in New Zealand and Exxon in Malaysia.
He has an MBA from Auckland University, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK, an Associate of the New Zealand Society of Chartered Accountants and also qualified with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK.

Mr. Sibal is currently the Director General of Directorate General of Hydrocarbons and is responsible for giving technical advice to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on the exploration of oil and gas, review of exploration programmes and the relinquishment of acreage. Dennis started his professional career as project manager of IRSM from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and then the leader of geotechnical projects in Shanghai Urban Design and Research Institute (SUCDRI). To this day he has published six academic papers in major national journals.
Dennis is currently working as the director of investment department of Future Trends International Group, and mainly in charge of the investment of one private equity fund which is mainly focusing on Chinese energy sector, and also acts as the founding member of two new private equity funds.
Dennis has rich and track-record of experiences in project investment, development and project management. He has participated and managed numerous large-scale projects funded by China Natural Science Funds, Chinese Academy Institute Funds and World Bank’s Loaning Support Project, etc.
