Truck and Tyre Maintenance
- Examining the effect of roads/materials on tyres
- Investigating and controlling key variables that effect rolling resistance
(tyre composition, dimensions, tread, extent of inflation and over-inflation)
- Selecting equipment to monitor tyres and vehicles
- Techniques to monitor and extend tyre life
P. Soundara Rajan has over 22 years of experience in the tyre industry- the initial 4 years in Production Operations and the latter 19 years in Sales, Product Development, Dealer Management, Key Account Management and Customer Service. He has been involved in product testing and rendering guidance to clients. Mr. Rajan previously worked at Goodyear India, Vikrant Tyres, MRF Tyres. He is a chemistry graduate, pursuing an MBA in Marketing Management.
Pravin Modh holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 18 years of experience in the tyre industry, specializing in Technical Services, Product Evaluation, Market Research, OTR Tyre Marketing, Product Outsourcing, Quality Assurance and Product Development. He conducted an OTR tyre performance study in Black Thunder Arch Coal Mines, USA and has worked on projects in China, Indonesia, Philippines, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He previously worked with Modi Continental for 13 years.

- Strategic planning based on layout of the mine site
- Best-Practice scheduling for smooth operations
- Adapting plans during mine expansions
- Comparing layouts of various mine sites
W.S (Sandy) Martin is a Professional Mining Engineer with over 13 years of experience in Underground, Surface Mining and Exploration operations. With 8 years of technical support experience in Gemcom’s Surpac, Whittle and MineSched software, his training for Surpac encompasses areas such as Underground and Surface Engineering and Geology. Mr. Martin is also presently a Director of Skyline Gold Corporation in Vancouver, Canada. He is assisting in the development of an advanced stage polymetallic open pit project in the Iskut River region of British Columbia.
