Working with the company’s diverse research groups, Ayvazian ensures Yankee Group is aligned with clients to help them visualize, navigate and generate value from current and future business opportunities. As a senior industry analyst and consultant, Ayvazian directs a wide range of research and consulting projects across a broad group of topics, including communications industry structure, broadband service provider strategy, mobile network infrastructure, enterprise networking strategy, information technology and applications. Caroline Gabriel co-founded Rethink Research Associates in 2002. Rethink is a London, UK-based market research and consulting company specialized in technologies and business models for service providers and vendors, in the broadband wireless, 3G, fixed/mobile convergence and wireline broadband markets. It provides published market reports, customized research projects and business model consulting, and holds one of the worldfs most comprehensive research databases of operators and vendors in broadband wireless, particularly WiMAX. Gabriel has also been responsible for creating the thought leading Wireless Watch and WiMAX Watch analyst services for Rethink. This provides weekly analysis and in-depth market reports on many aspects of wireless and mobile technology, with particular expertise in broadband wireless. Current reports include WiMAX Business Models 2006-10 and The WiMAX Global Map 2006-9.

Emily Nagle Green, President and CEO, Yankee Group
Emily Nagle Green is chartered with continuing Yankee Group’s leadership in navigating the global connectivity revolution as the president and CEO. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Yankee Group. Green is a communications technology and research veteran, and her tech-sector experience includes a variety of engineering and marketing leadership roles in computer-generated special effects, broadband communications and video services. She is a frequent speaker on the challenges and opportunities in connectivity change. Green is also the president of MITX, New Englandfs premier trade association for digital technology, marketing and media professionals.

John Jackson, Vice President of Enabling Technologies Research, Yankee Group
Jackson is one of the most recognized and respected mobile device analysts in the industry today. Before rejoining Yankee Group, Jackson was most recently with M:Metrics, leading its consulting organization and working closely with the companyfs OEM and mobile operator clients. Before M:Metrics, Jackson was the director of Yankee Groupfs Wireless/Mobile Technologies Decision Service. Jackson conceived and launched Yankee Groupfs Global Mobile Device Tracker/Forecast. His expertise in mobile technology research spans wireless devices and device technologies, including hardware, software, manufacturing and distribution. Jackson also specializes in applications development, delivery platforms and emerging connectivity technologies.

Uday Keshavdas, Senior Marketing Manager, Intel Corporation
Uday Keshavdas is a Senior Marketing manager with Intelfs Ultra Mobility Group based in Santa Clara, CA. He is passionate about consumer electronics and works with the OEMs to bring sleek new devices to market. Uday joined Intel in 2005 in a business development role before moving into his marketing role as that Intel was entering into the consumer electronics segment. He pursues his interests of delivering a great experience for consumers. Before moving to Intel, Uday consulted for several fortune 500 companies with KPMG Consulting and worked at Sun Microsystems as well. He graduated with his MBA from the University of Washington, Seattle and Masters in Information Systems from Northeastern University in Boston. Uday also holds a BS in mechanical engineering.

Mark Lowenstein, Managing Director, Mobile Ecosystem
Mark Lowenstein is a prominent wireless industry executive, consultant, analyst, and commentator. Most recently, Lowenstein was Vice President of Strategy at Verizon Wireless, where he led the companyfs efforts in market segmentation, business planning, national pricing, and market intelligence for the consumer and enterprise markets. He headed internal projects focused on portfolio management, customer intelligence, and the implementation of a new consumer segmentation model. Major strategy initiatives included: evolution of the companyfs music, m-commerce, e-mail and fixed-mobile convergence services; improvement of global offerings, including launch of the global Blackberry; and introduction of segment focused products for the youth and mature markets.

Laura Marriott, President, Mobile Marketing Association
Laura Marriott serves as the president for the global Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). The MMA is an action oriented non-profit global trade organization designed to facilitate the growth of mobile marketing, establish guidelines and best practices, and educate and evangelize on the use of the mobile channel. Marriott guides all MMA initiatives and communications for the 500+ world-wide members representing the mobile media ecosystem. With seventeen years of experience at companies including Intrado, Cyneta Networks & Cell-Loc Inc, Marriott has a proven track record of leadership, dedication and measurable results.

Michael Neidhöfer, Co-Founder, Netbiscuits
Michael has co-founded Netbiscuits and serves since 2000 as CEO and is one of the true first Mobile Internet pioneers in Germany. He is overall responsible for the Netbiscuits strategy, product innovation strategy and directs the sales & marketing team. Michael started his professional career working for an large UK based company where he was head of IT in Germany and project manager for international software projects in Germany , UK , Spain , Switzerland and Sweden. Michael holds a degree of Master of Business and Engineering of the University of Kaiserslautern. Michael is active member in mobile market shaping organizations such as Mobile Monday, BVDW, MMA, MoMeMo and inMobile.

Hans is the Director, NFC Business Development at VIVOtech, Inc. He previously served as Director, Sales and Business Development at IXI Mobile, Inc and Bluetooth Business Dev Manager at Texas Instruments.

Larry Weber is recognized as a visionary in applying technology to the communications field. He is the chairman and founder of W2 Group, Inc. ; a group of global communications companies. Earlier in his career; he started his own public relations company, The Weber Group, in 1987. Weber’s personal interest and expertise in adopting technology to drive communications led to his founding of Thunder House, which was one of the first online marketing firms. Within 10 years, The Weber Group was the world’s largest and most established technology public relations firm.

Weinman is charged with producing groundbreaking global industry events and publications that investigate the challenges and opportunities of the global connectivity revolution. Weinman has created more than 150 tradeshows, dozens of trade publications and has consulted many of the world’s leading technology companies. He is conference chair of WiMAX World Conference & Expo, the world’s largest WiMAX events in the USA , Europe and Asia . Before Yankee Group, he founded and sold four successful integrated media companies, the most recent of which is Trendsmedia, the events and publishing division of Yankee Group.
