Report Background
The Driver Assistance Systems (DAS) market is predicted to be one of the
fastest growing automotive system segments in the next few years. Suppliers
are scrambling over each other to become the first to market with new
technologies. "We anticipate significant growth in driver assistance systems,"
said Dr Bernd Bohr, Chairman Business Sector Automotive Technology,
RobertBosch GmbH. "In these new systems in particular, sales will grow
annually at impressive double-digit rates over the period up to 2015." In

those investing huge amounts in developing new and improved driver assistance
systems.
