Revenue for communications service providers (CSPs) grew by 5% in 2008, to
reach USD1.8 trillion. Revenue is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 6% from 2008
to 2013, reaching USD2.4 trillion. Mobile data services will be the main
engine of growth. Mobile voice is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 5%, but
non-messaging mobile data will grow at a CAGR of 16% and messaging data at a
CAGR of 12%. Residential broadband and video will continue to grow at

Emerging Asia-Pacific at a CAGR of 11% and Central and Eastern Europe at a
CAGR of 5%.
