Abstract
“Ultra-fast broadband is becomingly much more widely available - but the
price premium doesn' t appear to be holding up.” Martin Scott,
Senior Analyst.
This report analyses the results of the latest iteration of Analysys Mason' s
Triple-play pricing study, which was conducted over the second quarter of
2009. Benchmarking almost 1000 service bundles across more than 20 European
markets, the report covers broadband, and double- and triple-play services.
The issues discussed include: service pricing; ARPU uplift from multi-play
services and ultra-fast broadband; optimising promotional and entry-level
pricing, country-by-country benchmarks of broadband affordability and the
price-per-megabit-per-second for fixed broadband services.
Triple-play pricing study 2Q 2009: getting more for less? answers your key
questions:
- How is service pricing evolving as the economy begins to recover?
- What pricing uplift are ultra-fast broadband offers presently achieving?
- What uplift are operators getting from offering double- and triple-play
bundles?
- What kind of price promotions are operators across Europe deploying at
present and how aggressively?
- How are download and upload speeds evolving?
