Abstract
Is telecom finally ready for MEMS? While the last few years have been tumultuous - the long awaited-for recovery appears to be underway. This annual update provides an overview of MEMS-based solutions for optical networking applications, and looks at the products, companies, and continuing evolution of MEMS in optical networking. The report profiles who's out and who's still in, what happened in 2003 and what to expect in the coming year, and provides an overview of products and their availability. Forecasts of revenues and unit shipments for switches and other components are provided through 2008. |
