Abstract
Digital content continues to proliferate year after year as do the devices
which make use of digital content. Portable CE devices allow people to take
their content with them.
During 2007, In-Stat covered several portable CE categories that facilitate
the portability of digital content. This report offers an overview of
worldwide demand for select CE product segments covered in In-Stat' s Portable
Entertainment Device (PED) service. This report specifically reviews digital
radio, edutainment toys, portable media players, and portable navigation
devices.
This report offers an overview of current activity in each studied segment,
segment trends, and a forecast by region of unit shipments for each studied
segment.
