Abstract
Asia contains some of the largest and fastest-growing cinema markets in the
world and some of its film industries are also developing quickly, not only in
their domestic markets but increasingly as exporters to neighbouring
countries. Cinemagoing Asia tracks the latest developments in this populous
and complex region, offering hard evidence of what the Asian century is going
to look like from the perspective of the international film business.
This report is accompanied by two Excel workbooks containing comprehensive
data covering key metrics from screens, admissions and box office through to
tax rates and ancillary theatre revenues, and listing in detail the circuits
