Supply of electricity has been unable to keep pace with the steep rise in
demand thereby giving rise to power quality problems such as voltage
fluctuations, spikes, harmonic disturbances, brownouts and so on. Lack of
power results in huge losses for businesses and brings life to a standstill
for the entire economy. Due to such factors the importance of installing a UPS
(uninterruptible power supply) has raised manifold, especially in the
industrial arena where continuous power is imminent for smooth business
operations.
