Abstract
This research study looks at the market dynamics of the international data
services market in Asia Pacific (APAC). Wrought with challenges, impending
market consolidation and excess capacities in bandwidth on most major
international routes, the price war persists. This invariably leads to
dwindling bottom lines that could potentially threaten business profitability
and sustainability. Retaining existing customer base and more importantly,
growing it, is key to survival.
This benchmark study offers a competitive analysis of the major carriers in
Asia Pacific based on their service portfolio, network coverage, pricing and
value-added offerings, all of which influence customer acquisition.
