Abstract
Australian Building management and control systems (BMCS) market grew at a
CAGR of 18.18 percent from 2003 to 2006 but with slowdown in construction
sector it is expected that Australian BMCS market will grow at a CAGR of 8.7
percent from 2003 to 2013. Technology commoditization and skill shortage have
confined the industry development and intensified the competition. By 2013,
the Australian BMCS market is expected to be worth $351.4 million (A$444.8
million). Western Australia and Queensland will continue to top the list in
growth rates from 2006 to 2013. Office sector, health and age care facilities
and educational sector in Western Australia and Queensland are the main
sectors that will provide higher growth opportunities.
