Abstract

Photovoltaic inverter systems have been gathering pace in the market due to factors such as drop in prices, introduction of new technologies, and largely due to Feed-in Tariff system that has been introduced. The feed-in tariff system is where the utility has to purchase certain amount of energy from the local renewable energy system such as PV systems through a fixed rate set by the government institutions over a period of years.
