Abstract
The continuation of threats to major events have created a strong demand for
innovative security solutions. Event planners now have the difficult role of
making the proper changes to their budgeting requirements, which follow as a
result of the need for a stronger and more refined security infrastructure to
meet today' s increasingly complex security environment. It is still a highly
fragmented market with tremendous growth potential. The market within this
study has been broken down into three segments - access control, surveillance,
and detection.The highlights of the major findings within this research will
include: restraints, drivers, trends and strategic recommendations.
