This strategic analysis is part of Frost & Sullivan' s continued coverage of
the North American enterprise telephony marketplace, with special focus on
open-source IP telephony. For the purposes of this research, the telephony
market comprises telephony systems or private branch exchanges (PBXs) built on
open-source software and capable of supporting both IP and analog endpoints.
The research also provides insight into the ecosystem needed to support the
open-source telephony initiative. The study highlights key technology and
market trends that are impacting the open-source telephony market. It provides
