Abstract
This white paper explores the different implementations that smart card
technology has and may materialize in. It goes on to investigate the reasons
and areas of successes or otherwise for the most common forms. Several
potential applications and potential forms are also discussed as well as a
general outlook on the industry and market as a whole.
