Abstract
In 2007, the revenues generated by the total automation and systems solutions
market in Chinese power industry reached $1309.5 million, with an annual
growth rate 18.2 percent over 2006. Although macro control has been
implemented in thermal or coal power segment, the high growth in power grid
and new energy power is expected to drive the market to keep a steadily high
growth rate from 2007 to 2014. It is estimated that the total automation
systems and software solutions market would grow to $2976.0 million by 2014,
at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.4 percent from 2007 to 2014.
