The world image sensors market is a growth market and this growth is likely to
continue through the entire forecast period. The application of image sensors
are increasing. They are adopted in diverse industries. The image sensors have
evolved from industrial application in machine vision and in increasingly used
for a number of expanding consumer applications. These sensors have become a
part of automotive safety. The medical and diagnostic companies have been
increasingly deploying the image sensors both in the diagnostics, monitoring
and surgical applications.
