Abstract
The sea training and simulation market in India is in a growing stage. The
major participants operating in the market are CAE-Macmet, Thales, ARI, BMT
Consultants and Rheinmetall. There are other smaller companies operating in
this market along with a number of software companies that cater to the
software requirements of simulators. Simulators are available for different
types of naval operations like tactics and command, ship/submarine navigation,
weapon systems operations, engine room training, etc. The market for
computerised wargaming and live training by non-state participants is yet to
emerge.
