Abstract
This research service examines the South African fractional horsepower (FHP)
motor market over the period, 2005 - 2015. The product segments studied are
electric FHP motors (AC motors and DC motors) and Servo motors. The electric
FHP motors segment is split into AC synchronous, AC Induction and DC motors.
Whilst the servo motors segment accounts for all servo motor types. The end
user segments under analysis in this research service are: metals & mining,
power, petrochemicals & chemicals, food & beverage, industrial OEM
applications, manufacturing, automotive and others (including pulp & paper).
