The pressure sensors and transmitters market is a matured market.To ensure
growth companies are designing various strategies from new product
developments to mergers and acquisitions. Pressure being the most monitored
parameter and to ensure accuracy and prompt action sensor intelligence and
fieldbus compatibility are playing a key role in its adoption. Technologies
are continuously upgraded to ensure the integration both at the device and
system levels. A number of markets have been identified as growth markets.
However a number of technologies such as fiber optics currently servicing
niche markets are being explored for critical applications.
