Abstract
In recent years Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have seen massive
investments across various sectors of the economy. Most importantly there has
been boom in real estate sector. These huge investments ensured that there is
enough demand for water and wastewater treatment equipments. Accordingly the
GCC market for water and wastewater treatment equipments has witnessed
unprecedented growth rate. However in changed economic scenario, there are
more questions than answers. The current report is an endeavour to take a
rational view of the market situation.
