Abstract
The sub-Saharan African power plant services market is witnessing a resurgence
after a few years of downturn in the early 2000s. The lack of additional
generation capabilities and the need to meet increasing demand for electricity
have heralded increasing opportunities for refurbishment in the region. The
aim of this research is to examine the Sub-Saharan African power plant service
market. The research reviews the industry-specific trends regarding investment
in power plant services together with an end-user perspective to provide a
comprehensive view and forecasts for the total market.
