Abstract
This study provides a top level analysis of the existing and future solar
technologies and their applications towards the European automotive industry.
Key industry challenges, drivers and restraints are discussed and throws light
on the applications in current use and future applications being developed. A
case study on the polysilicon solar cell industry is also performed and future
opportunities have been investigated.
