Abstract
Research was carried out to provide a comprehensive analysis of the South
African market for chemical solvents and determine the market trends of some
key end-user markets, which included paints and coatings, cleaning products,
inks, personal care products, glues and adhesives. An analysis of the market
structure, as well as an evaluation of the opportunities, drivers and
restraints for chemical solvent suppliers and manufacturers in the total
market was provided. Additional analysis was provided through strategic
recommendations and conclusions.
