The study review the Asia Pacific container port market development in 2008
and provides an short and long term outlook for the market. It also review
some of the key challenges and issues that should be on top of every port
executive' s mind like carbon emission, security and hinterland congestions.
The study further analyze 14 countries in Asia Pacific on its current port
structure and future outlook of its top container ports. It conclude with a
brief overview of the major port operator in Asia Pacific as well as some
recommendation for operators and future investors who are interested in this
sector.
