Abstract
This research was carried out on the South African air pollution control
management market to try and accurately identify factors currently affecting
this market. Five market segments were analysed and these included the Energy
and Power Sector: Chemicals and Petrochemical Industry: Steel and Metals
Industry: Pulp and Paper Industry:and Cement and Brick Manufacturing Industry.
Market sizes for each market segment were calculated for 2008 and forecasts
determined for the period 2009 to 2015. In addition, market dynamics such as
challenges, drivers and restraints were also identified.
