The Middle East region offers a vast scope for diesel gensets in the range of
15-2000 KVA. The market is currently concentrated in the developed nations
like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. However new developments are expected in other
developing nations like Lebanon, Iraq and Jordon.The ongoing demand-supply
mismatch in the power sector is considered to be the key driver for future
growth.Caterpillar, Cummins Inc and F.G Wilson are three major suppliers of
Diesel gensets in the region.The market is expected to project growth rates of
10-12 percent in the near future. With rising demand-supply gap and several
state reforms for gradually privatization of the power sector, the diesel
genset industry in the Middle East holds a promising future
