Abstract
This research service examines the IHP motors market from 2005 to 2008 and
provides forecasts from 2009 to 2015. The total market is segmented into two
parts, the alternating current (AC) motors and direct current (DC) motors
segment. The AC motors are further segmented as AC Synchronous motors & AC
Asynchronous motors. The AC Asynchronous motors are classified into, AC
induction squirrel cage & AC induction slip ring. Voltage Rating: Motors with
voltage rating below 690V are considered as low voltage (LV) motors and the
motors with greater than 690V are considered as medium voltage (MV) motors.
Power Rating: Power ratings equal to or higher ups of 0.75KW have been
considered.
