Abstract
The report is devoted to research of current standing of market of gypsum
stone and gypsum in Russia, its development under crisis conditions and
forecast till 2012. This work is based mainly on desk study, which results
were obtained by expert analysis of official statistics, publications in mass
media, press-releases of companies producing and consuming gypsum stone and
gypsum as well as their annual and quarterly reports. The report consists of 8
Sections; contains 85 pages, including 23 Figures, 37 Tables and Appendix.
The first Section of the report is devoted to description of gypsum resources
base in Russia. It presents data on quantity of deposits and reserves of
gypsum, regional structure of location of gypsum reserves in Russia.
The second Section of the report presents requirements of State standards,
imposed on quality of gypsum stone, gypsum and gypsum binders.
The third Section is devoted to analysis of data on volumes of mining of
gypsum stone and production of gypsum in Russia in 2002 - 9 months 2009. It
presents regional structure of production of gypsum stone and gypsum in Russia
in 2008, commodity structure of gypsum production in Russia in 2008, data on
volumes of mining of gypsum stone and production of gypsum by leading
enterprises in 2002 - 9 months 2009.
The forth Section is devoted to description of current standing of enterprises
of gypsum industry in Russia. The Section presents data on terms of presence
of enterprises at the market, volumes and assortment of their products,
realizing investment project, volumes and destinations of commodity products
supplies.
The fifth Section is devoted to analysis of foreign trade of Russia in gypsum
and gypsum stone in 2002 - 9 months 2009. The Section presents data on
volumes of export and import of gypsum and gypsum stone in bulk and in money
terms, analyses regional structure of the supplies, presents data on volumes
and destinations of supplies of leading exporters and importers.
The sixth Section of the report is devoted to analysis of domestic consumption
of gypsum and gypsum stone in Russia. The Section presents supply-demand
balance of gypsum and gypsum stone, analyses effect of seasonality factor,
presents data on sectoral and regional structure of consumption of these
products, volumes and destinations of gypsum and gypsum stone supplies to
greatest consumers for the latest 3 years. Besides, the Section describes
current standing and prospects of development of the main end-uses of gypsum.
In the seventh Section of the report data on average producer' s prices on
gypsum and gypsum stone in Russia in 2002-2009, as well as current prices on
gypsum products of some Russian producers is given.
The final, eighth, Section of the report presents forecast of development of
gypsum market in Russia up to 2012.
The Appendix contains addresses and contact information on the main
enterprises of gypsum industry in Russia.
