Abstract
This IDC study examines the business analytics (BA) software market
in the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region and presents
the market sizing and forecast from 2007–2013. Forecast for 13
APEJ countries are also provided.
"The BA software market in the
Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) region is expected to grow at a
five-year CAGR of 6.4%. In the next 12 to 18
months, BA software adoption in this region would be primarily
driven by strategic business objectives such as improving profits through
seeking out revenue and cost minimization opportunities, improving operational efficiencies,
risk mitigation, and meeting compliance requirements, " says Sharon Tan,
research manager, Software Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.
