Abstract
The Danish software market slowed down in 2008 compared with
2007, recording a growth rate of 5.2%.
"The financial crisis and
the slowdown in economic growth have taken their toll on
growth in the software markets. This will also be the
case in 2009, but not as dramatic as we feared
six months ago," said Per Andersen, managing director, IDC Nordic.
"We still forecast positive growth in the Danish software market
in 2009 and the recovery in the market will materialize
in 2010."
IDC expects the Danish software market to grow at
a compound annual growth rate of 4.3% between 2009 and
2013.
