Abstract
This IDC study forecasts the long-term flash memory market by memory type, unit and bit demand,
average selling price (ASP), and revenue. Flash memory bit demand is segmented by application where
IDC forecasts both unit shipments and NOR flash memory content per system annually.
"IDC forecasts that the flash memory market will grow in single digits during the forecast
period. Mobile phone handsets will continually drive the NOR flash memory market with their unit
shipment and memory consumption growth. Digital consumer devices will also be key drivers for the
