Abstract
This IDC study examines the extent of IP service adoption by medium and large
enterprises across the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region. IDC
surveyed enterprises in 11 Asia/Pacific countries across six vertical markets
to assess their usage and future needs of IP technologies and services. This
document focuses on multinational companies versus local companies and
companies' split by size.
"Across the APEJ region enterprises are moving to new services and the use of
more advanced applications," says Tim Crowley, research manager, IP Services,
IDC Asia/Pacific. "While cost is still a primary concern among enterprises in
the region, companies are showing interest in expanding use of newer
technologies and applications."
