Abstract
This IDC study analyzes China IPTV market status and development trends. It
includes an IPTV market value chain, key player strategies, business model,
inhibitors and drivers, development trends, and a five-year market forecast and
recommendations.
"IPTV will become increasingly popular in China and change consumers'
conventional TV watching behaviors. However, it has been difficult for the IPTV
market to really take off in the past one to two years because of strict
government policies, among the various inhibitors. Finding killer applications
and forming a mature business model are just two of the most important ways to
lead the IPTV market into success," says David Yang, senior analyst,
Telecommunications Group, IDC China.
