Abstract
This IDC study analyzes China broadband value-added services (VASs) market
status and development trends. It includes a broadband market analysis, the
broadband VAS market development status, a value chain analysis, key player
strategies, inhibitors and drivers, development trends, and a five-year market
forecast and recommendations.
"China's broadband VAS market increased quickly in 2005 but it is still quite
limited. But fortunately, SPs have begun to deeply explore customers' needs and
launch series of broadband VASs. Online gaming, IPTV, and small and
medium-sized business (SMB) broadband applications will be the three major
drivers to push the development of broadband over the next five years," says
David Yang, senior analyst, Telecommunications Group, IDC China.
