Abstract
This IDC study analyzes the China enterprise broadband applications market
through a five-city consumer survey called the China Enterprise Broadband
Applications End-User Survey 2006. It includes a study of current broadband
applications, purchasing behavior, and potential demands.
"The China enterprise Internet access market is facing the challenge of falling
subscriber growth. Broadband applications will be an important driver to push
the increase of the broadband market. Telecom carriers will play a very
important role in the coming broadband application market opportunities.
Applications that help enterprises to improve work efficiency and product
quality or reduce operation cost, will be accepted and adopted by more and more
enterprises," says David Yang, senior analyst, Telecommunications Group, IDC
