This IDC study analyzes China DTV market status and development trends. It
includes a DTV market value chain, key player strategies, business model,
inhibitors and drivers, development trends, and a five-year market forecast and
recommendations.
"DTV will become increasingly popular in China and change consumers'
conventional TV watching behaviors. However, it has been difficult to achieve
profit because of free TV inertia among the subscribers. How to develop
abundant paid programs, interactive usage and form a mature business model are
just three of the most important ways to lead the DTV market into success,"
