Abstract
This IDC study provides a market sizing and a five-year forecast for countries
in Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) or APEJ customer relationship management
(CRM) applications market. It also includes the market size in 2005 for the CRM
applications functionalities: sales force automation, marketing automation,
customer service, and contact center. This study also examines the major market
trends, accelerators, and inhibitors that are emerging in the region.
"As enterprises include CRM as part of their business strategy, they should not
view CRM solution as an independent component," says Alan Tong, research
manager, Asia/Pacific Enterprise Applications, IDC Malaysia. "They should
embark on a holistic view as CRM functionality is increasingly tied to other
processes of the organization."
