Abstract
This IDC study provides an overview of the market dynamics and development
trends in the IT solutions in the China banking industry for the period between
2005 and 2010. It covers the competitive positioning of the leading vendors in
every segment and the overall market in 2005, providing a review of software
and services revenue by segment and geography.
"The overall banking IT solution market was estimated at RMB 4.86 billion in
2005, representing 44.4% of the entire bank software and services market.
Decision support systems, risk management systems, Intermediary business
systems, bankcard systems, and ebanking will be the IT application hotspots in
the banking industry in the next five years," says Judy Ou, analyst, Software
and Services Group, IDC China.
