Abstract
This IDC study provides detailed analysis, conclusions, and forecasts regarding
the dynamics of the North Africa region (Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria)
personal computer market. The information in this study is intended to provide
an understanding of the changes and challenges facing the PC industry. IDC' s
2006 figures and analysis are based on information gathered from interviews
with the leading IT companies (vendors, distributors, assemblers, system
integrators, value-added resellers, and dealers) active in the region.
"The North African PC market offers vendors lucrative opportunities for growth
and expansion. Exploiting these opportunities, however, requires an in-country
presence, greater collaboration with various market players and channels, and
careful monitoring of the markets for grey and refurbished PCs." - Mehdi
Mandre, Research Analyst, IDC North Africa
