This IDC study provides a top-down sizing of the network test and measurement
market in 2006 and a 2007-2011 forecast for this market. Historical and
forecast revenue data is shown for the total worldwide market and by geographic
region, network type, and service type. This study also contains
vendor-specific revenue and market shares.
"The life cycle for network test and measurement is lengthening as customers
seek to leverage process automation and openness," said Elisabeth Rainge
director of Network Management. "Network test vendors need to deliver products
with greater flexibility and openness to accommodate such changes in customer
requirements."
