Abstract
This IDC study gives an overview of the present use and future deployments in
the next 12-24 months of Internet access services, broadband, IP VPN, and IP
applications adoption across the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region
by vertical segments.
"Key findings from this study showed that all vertical segments across the
region have exhibited similar trends with regard to IP usage and preference
adoption manner. However, enterprises in the infrastructure services,
manufacturing/ construction/resources and financial services verticals emerged
as forerunners in the adoption of sophisticated IP applications as well as
higher bandwidth lines," says Claus Mortensen, research manager, IDC
Asia/Pacific.
