Abstract
This study discusses the market for hardcopy peripherals - single-function and
multifunction. It does not cover point-of-sale printers or small-format
printers featuring widths of less than eight inches. It also does not cover
wide format (A0) products, sometimes known as plotters. The forecasts contain
data for the Russian peripherals market from 2008 through 2012. Unit shipments,
value of shipments, and average street price (ASP) information is presented.
Data for 2006-2007 is actual, whereas data for 2008-2012 is projected.
"Despite the fact that the electronic document turnover systems market is
flourishing, the volume of hardcopy peripherals devices and paper printouts
will continue to increase in the corporate segment in the near future. Basic
compliance with internal company regulations and adherence to various
governmental, legal, and financial standards will be the principal causes of
this." - Alexander Goloshchapov, Senior Analyst, IDC Russia & CIS
