emerging markets of Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ, citing evidence to
qualify or dismiss common beliefs surrounding profitability, replacement
opportunity, and other issues.
Emerging markets like China and India have been growing rapidly in the recent
years, but the efforts of mobile phone makers in tapping this space have seen
mixed results. To succeed, industry players will need to make lucid judgments
of the market.
