Abstract
This IDC study provides results and details of IDC' s 2008 Business Monitor
Survey to better understand requirements of the 475 surveyed individuals with
influence over the purchase and deployment of monitors within their companies.
In this Part 1 of a two-part study, we examine respondents' demographics, their
companies' current monitor ownership, future purchase plans, and the key
features that impact their buying decisions. In Part 2, we will dive into
branding and bundling issues, channel selection, and recycling.
