Abstract
This IDC study shows the results of the European WAN Manager Survey 2008.
European enterprises and public institutions view green IT as an element of
increasing importance when selecting telecom services and in terms of changing
behavior within organizations. "IDC believes that this trend will continue, and
we expect service providers, equipment vendors, and services players to
increase their focus on the green IT and corporate social responsibility
elements of their offerings," said Roosmarijn Cornelissen, research analyst,
European Telecoms and Networking.
