Abstract
This IDC study, which is a translation of the Japanese report IDC #J9450181,
presents an outlook for the Japan storage market in 2009 from various
perspectives such as technologies, issues faced by users, investment trends,
social environment changes, and vendor strategies. It also looks at the
business opportunities open to storage vendors in this market.
"The growth rate of the Japan storage investment will decrease as the focus of
Japan companies will shift toward better optimization and improvement of usage
