This IDC study reviews the growth, market dynamics, and development
trends of the Linux client operating environments (COEs) and server
operating environments (SOEs) market during 2008, and provides revenue forecast
through 2009–2013. This document includes a revenue overall of the
Linux market revenue breakdown by Linux COE and SOE, SOE
revenue by vertical and by customer size, and COE revenue

was a very exciting year for the China Linux market.
Although the market was, at some extent, affected by poor
