Abstract
In 2008, the U.S. market for peripheral vascular devices was valued at $2.6
billion, an increase of 8.9% over 2007, as depicted in Chart 1-1. This market
encompasses the following devices used for peripheral procedures only: stents,
PTA balloon catheters, atherectomy devices, chronic total occlusion devices,
stent-grafts, surgical grafts, AV access thrombectomy devices, vena cava
filters, catheters, guidewires, introducer sheaths, and vascular closure
devices. From 2008 to 2015, the market for peripheral vascular devices is
estimated to increase at a CAGR of 9.1%.
